Capoeira Celebratin and Graduation Event

We are excited to invite you and your child to our 2016 Capoeira Celebration & Graduation Event! The Arte Martial Brasileira Capoeira (Brazilian Martial Arts Capoeira) BATIZADO 2016!!! For those who have been consistently and actively participating in Capoeira classes this event is the culmination of that work. A celebration consisting of music and movement workshops concluding in a batizado. A batizado in Capoeira is similar to a graduation where the student is able to show off their skills and receive a “graduation” cord reflective of their mastery in Capoeira.

This is a 3 day event. The event will consist of two Workshops and Rodas (Capoeira Play), on Thursday and Friday respectively, with guest Masters, Professors, and Instructors and will culminate with a batizado on Sunday afternoon.

We are really looking forward to celebrating and building together as a Capoeira community. Information on days, times, and pricing are:
